Located in the Ferry Wharf development in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, the Charleston Harbor Embassy Suites features a seven-story, 158 guestroom hotel with an adjacent 760 space parking deck. The hotel is designed with a central pavilion, which houses the lobby reception area, along with a second-floor meeting space. On either side of the pavilion, courtyards provide cozy outdoor spaces for hotel amenities, including a large pool and outdoor dining area. The tripartite design of the hotel façade recalls the historic architecture of adjacent Charleston, with large arched openings in a rusticated base, stucco tower, and accentuated seventh level. This project is the second phase of the Ferry Wharf development, which will eventually contain retail, residential, and office components.
